Welcome to the latest edition of the Epsilon3 Changelog, covering release versions v 1.181 - 1.182. Customer feedback fuels each new feature and improvement, so we’d love to hear what you think about these latest developments. Let’s keep driving mission success!
TL;DR:
Usage Based Maintenance
Print Multiple Runs
Create Child Work Orders & Linked Purchase Orders
Annotate Images during a Run
Scan Codes in Procedure
New! Usage Based Maintenance
You can now create maintenance schedules based on a tool’s usage—cycles, time in use—or on the number of check-ins. Choose when tracking starts: immediately or retroactive to the tool’s creation date.
New! Print Multiple Runs
Users can now export a Run and all its linked nested runs with a single click from the Run page, eliminating the need to open each linked run and export PDFs individually. Navigate to the 3 dot menu on a Run Page next to Export CSV and select “Print w/ Linked Runs” to download in a single PDF of the current and linked runs.
New! Create Child Work Orders & Linked Purchase Orders
Users can now create or link purchase orders or work orders to an existing work order to track the procurement of parts needed to complete the existing work order.
Navigate to the Resource Check grid for the existing work order, select one or more parts, and then use the bulk action menu at the top of the grid to create or link purchase orders and work orders for the selected parts.
Inventory items procured as part of the linked purchase orders and work orders are automatically assigned to the parent work order.
New! Annotate Images during a Run
Annotate images in field input attachments and run comments now!
Add text, highlight specific areas, and provide visual feedback on images directly during a run.
New! Scan Codes in Procedure
We’ve introduced a new Scan Code input type that lets users scan QR codes or barcodes directly within a procedure. The scanned value is automatically stored in the input field and can be referenced in expressions throughout the procedure.
Improvements & Fixes:

See inventory gaps for a Work Order, initiate a PO from that screen, and have the part allocated automatically when they arrive
Bulk create on work orders via API
Added print header and footer abilities on Procedure view and run summary
Custom fields now supported in Parts & Inventory APIs
Preferred vendor as a column on Procurement page
Fixed sorting for inventory and tools grid
Show Inventory details block in summary
Show Make vs Buy designation on Work Order resources grid for each component part
