Epsilon3 Changelog #107 - Collaborative Editing of Procedures, Locations Callboard, Temporary Installation and Removal (TIR) Logs, and Deep Project Nesting

Welcome to the latest edition of the Epsilon3 Changelog, covering release versions v 1.228 - 1.230.

Last week, our CEO & Co-Founder, Laura Crabtree, met with policymakers and influencers in D.C. and NYC discussing how we strengthen the industrial base and how government and industry move faster together. You can read more about her thoughts in her latest Launch Window, and watch what Laura had to say about how we’re helping industry move faster, build safer, and scale quicker from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

As always, your feedback fuels each new feature and improvement, so we’d love to hear what you think about these latest developments.

Company & Customer News:

  • Laura on It’s Not Rocket Science. Our CEO, Laura Crabtree, sat down with Jeff Ward, former VP at SpaceX and Millennium Space Systems, to talk about hiring, customer demand, and what it takes to bring AI into high-reliability environments. Listen here.

TL;DR:

  • Collaborative Editing of Procedures: Write the same procedure together, live, and see exactly who’s working where.

  • Locations Callboard: Every site’s status, operators, and active Runs, Work Orders, and Issues on one screen.

  • Temporary Installation and Removal (TIR) Logs: Know what’s temporarily installed on every part right now, and everything that ever was.

  • Deep Project Nesting: Up to 10 levels of subprojects, with the full path always in view.

New! Collaborative Editing of Procedures

  • Stop passing drafts back and forth. Multiple authors can now edit the same procedure draft at the same time. Colored highlighting shows which section each teammate is working in, and avatars in the table of contents show who’s where.

New! Locations Callboard

  • The Locations Callboard gives you a macro view of your physical operations: every site in your workspace down to every moving part per site. Zoom out to see which locations are active, which are down, and which need help. Zoom in on the Runs, Work Orders, and Issues linked to any one of them. Flag a site’s status the moment it changes, call for help when a location needs hands, and assign operators where the work is to orchestrate your entire operation, from the facility floor down to the last step.

  • Help Center Article

New! Temporary Installation and Removal (TIR) Logs(Temporary Install/ Remove)

  • TIR Logs track every temporary installation and removal of parts, tools, and non-inventory items on your parts and assemblies. A new content block in procedures and runs records each install or removal, and it works much like the Update Component block your team already knows. Each inventory item’s detail page now has a table showing what’s installed on it right now, plus a full history of everything that has been.

Improved! Deep Project Nesting

  • Projects nest up to 10 levels deep, so you can build subprojects under subprojects to mirror your programs, systems, and teams. If you have access to a project deep in the tree, you’ll see its full path back to the top, and project filters show that full path too.
