TL;DR:

  • Custom Parts and Forms

  • Mate/Demate

  • Organize lists with groups, ordering, descriptions, and archiving

  • Part Model Viewer

New! Mate/Demate

  • Parts and tools now have the ability to define connection interfaces so that connections and cycles can be tracked.

  • Items with connection interfaces can mate/demate with other items that have connection interfaces, authored in a new procedure block and executed in a new run block

  • Connections can be tracked per item in the item detail via the new connection log

New! 3D Part Model Viewer

  • Attach a 3D model or schematic to any part definition

  • Annotate the model with the part's reference designators (component locations) to visually explore which components are installed where

  • When viewing the model on an As Built inventory item, indicators show which components are installed and which are missing

New! Custom Parts and Forms

  • Forms have arrived on parts! Users can now create multiple forms with their own custom fields and layouts, so the data you capture matches the part you're capturing it for. Build a "Fastener" form with Thread Size, Material, and Torque Spec, and a separate "Electronic Component" form with Voltage Rating and RoHS Compliance.

Improved! Better List Organization

  • Organize predefined lists with groups, ordering, descriptions, and archiving.

  • Drag list options into the order you want, add a description that shows up in dropdowns, and archive old options instead of deleting them.

  • Each list option now has a stable identifier, so relabeling it updates the option everywhere. Already recorded answers keep the text they were signed off with.
