Epsilon3 Changelog #101 - Dashboards, Custom Fields on Procedures, Update Assembly Components in a Run, Pause Reasons, & Optional Strict Signoffs

Welcome to the latest edition of the Epsilon3 Changelog, covering release versions v 1.214 - 1.215.

Last week, we announced Epsilon3 2.0, our vision for the next evolution of the Epsilon3 platform, including the launch of Epsilon3 Connect, our solution for extending the digital thread of managing the lifecycle of complex hardware within Epsilon3 across the full supply chain. You can catch up on that news here - and don’t forget to register for our webinar on June 18th to learn more about these new capabilities rolling out to all customers soon.

As always, your feedback fuels each new feature and improvement and we’d love to hear what you think, what’s working, what’s not working, and what we can build to support your needs.

TL;DR:

  • Dashboards

  • Custom Fields on Procedures

  • Update Assembly Components in a Run

  • Pause Reasons

  • Optional Strict Signoffs

New! Dashboards

  • Share customizable dashboards with your team to analyze trends, surface bottlenecks, and gain insight into the workflows that drive your operation.

  • Pull data from your runs, procedures, issues, inventory, and risks. Visualize it with bar, pie, line, scatter, area, donut, KPI, and table widgets.

  • Group, filter, and sort each widget however you want, save reusable templates for your team, and pin the views you check most often.

New! Custom Fields on Procedures

  • You can now add custom fields to procedures and runs to track the details that matter to your operation. Classify and organize your procedures and capture the execution data you care about each time a procedure runs.

  • Every field shows up in your runs and procedures grids, so you can view those details at a glance and sort by them.

New! Update Assembly Components in a Run

  • Users can now use the new ‘Update Components’ content block to remove, swap, or add component items for an assembly inventory item.

  • The flexibility of this new content block supports various use cases seamlessly - quick corrections for incorrectly mapped components, swapping malfunctioning or overused components, full disassembly.

  • Build assemblies in any order: add the assembly item to inventory without components, then use 'Update Components' to map components (directly or via kits) when you're ready in this run or a later one.

New! Pause Reasons

  • Now you can configure a curated list of reasons - and optionally require selection - for pausing runs, sections, and steps.
